Spend time with your child discovering these Bible stories together! Below is a summary of the lessons your children will be taught each day during VBS.

Day 1 - TRUST IN JESUS

MOSES: BOY IN A BASKET (Exodus 1—2:10)

We can have courage in all situations by trusting in God’s love and plans for us.

Memory Verse- “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”  -Jeremiah 17:7

 

Day 2 - UNITE

ESTHER: QUEEN AT RISK  (Esther 2—8)

We can have courage to stand up for others by uniting with God’s people.

Memory Verse- “Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.”-Romans 12:10

Day 3 - TRAIN

DANIEL: SERVANT OF GOD  (Daniel 1)

We can have courage to make wise choices by training to serve God.

Memory Verse- “Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise.” -Proverbs 19:20

Day 4 - FOLLOW

JEREMIAH: PROPHET IN TROUBLE (Jeremiah 36—39)

We can have courage to follow in God’s path, even when it is difficult.

Memory Verse- “Obey me, and I will be your God and you will be my people. Walk in all the ways I command you, that it may go well with you.”  -Jeremiah 7:23

Day 5 - LEAD

JOSHUA: SPY IN A STRANGE LAND (Numbers 13—14:9)

We can have courage to lead others to God’s promises.

Memory Verse- “Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”  -Joshua 1:9
