FORMATION: Faith formation includes CCD, Confirmation Class, RCIA, and
VBS. We also have pre-marriage preparation with trained married couples in preparing couples for the Sacrament of Marriage. and Baptisms.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY: Our Children's Ministry at St Peter's includes CCD for Kindergarten through 8th grade, as well as VBS. Using a Faith based program, each summer youngsters from PK-6th grade learn the love Christ has for them. From the spirit charged music center to the creative arts and crafts, a special emphasis is placed on the Eucharist.

VINCENT DE PAUL: A committee of volunteers providing emergency financial relief, basic household necessities and
food baskets for those in need, as well as a free clothing bank open every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m.
to 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. SVDP is run completely on the selfless donations of others.

High School Youth Group meetings take are Sundays from Sept - June directly following the 10:30 a.m. Mass. Middle School Youth Group meets
once a month. Spiritual formation mixed with fun and fellowship is the theme. Leadership, discipleship and servanthood are focused on.

COUNCIL: Council members operate as representatives of our parish
family and gather the thoughts and ideas of the community. The ideas are
presented to the council for discussion and implementation into parish life.
The councils' performance is dependent upon the input of all parishioners.

FAMILY CELEBRATIONS: Our parish family celebrations include our
twice yearly Feast Day Potlucks, taking place on the Epiphany of our Lord Sunday and the Feast of St Peter. On the 2nd Sunday of October, our Families in Faith ministry hosts a day of family fun and food open to all families of St. Peter Parish.

ALTAR SOCIETY: Open to all adult female members of the Parish, with a mission to serve the social needs of the
Parish and surrounding community. Meetings are every second Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS: A group of men dedicated to serving the greater good of the Church family and surrounding
community. Open for initiation to all men who are members of the Parish in good standing, meetings
are the first and third Mondays of each month at 6:30 p.m.

MINISTRY: Choir members, instrumentalists and cantors are a dynamic part of the Liturgy. With different Choirs
for Christmas, Easter, Funerals and Weddings, as well as a fantastic Contemporary Youth Choir and
the Children’s Holiday Choir, opportunities exist year round.

RCIA: Interested in knowing more about the Catholic Faith? RCIA is a perfect place to brush up on your Faith. Practicing parishioners in good standing are invited to be sponsors for the adults participating in RCIA and the youth in
Confirmation. Share your faith and grow together in

EXTRAORDINARY
MINISTERS: A symbol of our daily call to be a Eucharist for others,
EOMs distribute Communion during Mass. As an extraordinary minister of the
Eucharist, lay people can serve the Catholic Church by distributing Holy
Communion during Mass and bringing it to the homebound.

LECTORS: An opportunity to actively participate in the Liturgy while enriching one’s understanding of the
Scripture, Lectors convey God’s Word each week to the Parish community through prayerful
preparation and proclamation.

ALTAR
SERVERS: In service to our Lord and our Parish, trained individuals assist in the preparation of vessels and
books during Mass, as well as assisting the Presider during Mass and with cleaning up afterward.
Anyone from second grade to adulthood is eligible for this ministry.

TO SHUT-INS: EOM’s distribute Communion to the sick and shut-in Catholics of the surrounding communities on the
First Friday of each month, as well as pray with those unable to receive the Eucharist any longer.

MINISTRY: Providing encouragement and support for senior parishioners and shut-ins
