Religous Education-
CCD is a faith-based and fun-filled time for kids from Kindergarten through 8th grade where they are taught the Sacraments and the basics of our Catholic Faith.

                                               

The books used in our faith formation are the Faith in Life Series  published by Ignatius Press.

Confirmation is a Catholic sacrament of mature Christian commitment and a deepening of baptismal gifts. It is one of the three Sacraments of Initiation for Catholics. Confirmation class begins in 8th/9th grade and runs for 2 years. This is an informative time for our youth where they dive deeper into every aspect of our Catholic faith. At the end of 2 years, they are received fully into the Church through the Sacrament of Confirmation.


 Grades 9-12 attend High School Youth Group under the direction of Kay Bumstead.

Vacation Bible School-
A fun-filled week, VBS is usually held late in June from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon. Using a Catholic faith based program, each summer youngsters from Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade learn the love God has for them. For kids older than 6th grade, there are opportunities to participate by mentoring to younger children. From the Spirit-charged music center to the creative arts and crafts area, a special emphasis is placed on the Sacraments. Kids will also learn about Saints, Catholic faith history and how to live out their faith and God's love to others! Summer of 2013 we will be hosting SonWest Roundup, where the kids will learn what it means to be "Cowboys for Christ". We usually follow the week with a VBS themed float for St Peter Church in the July 4th parade. Click on the logo below for more information on this summer's VBS.

Childcare: Rainbow Child Development Center-
Childcare is available at Rainbow weekdays . St. Peter Parish sponsors the Rainbow Child Development Center, providing child care for ages ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Child care is available from 6am to 6pm, Monday thru Friday, and our center is licensed by the Family Independence Agency.
